Rollover crash in Rathdrum kills one, injures one
When deputies arrived, they found a juvenile male with serious injuries. Northern Lakes Fire responded and began treating the young man. He was transported to Kootenai Health and is currently in stable condition.
Deputies also located the body of a deceased adult man who had been ejected from the car.

Deputies say their early investigation shows the Messerlys were eastbound on Chilco Road at a high rate of speed when the pickup truck they were driving left the road and rolled several times. Neither man was wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
