Panhandle School District Principal Killed In Accident

Chad Langheim, the Principal and Co-Superintendent of Lincolnwood Jr. and Sr. High School died in a car crash Friday night. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says Langheim was headed South on Black Diamond Trail when his car left the road and hit a metal drain. Langheim was air-lifted to Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The community of Raymond is grieving this weekend over the death of a local educator.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says Langheim was headed South on Black Diamond Trail when his car left the road and hit a metal drain.  Langheim was air-lifted to Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.  

The Montgomery County Sheriff and the Sangamon County Coroner are investigating the accident.
