Two people killed in single-vehicle crash on Route 31 in McHenry County, Illinois

Preliminary investigation indicates the driver of a 2008 Saturn Vue was traveling southbound Route 31 south of Ringwood Road, Ringwood in unincorporated McHenry County. For unknown reasons, the Saturn crossed the center line, traveled through the northbound lane, and left the roadway to the east and struck a tree.
