10 taken to hospitals after school bus accident in Brookfield Zoo parking lot

In addition to Brookfield Zoo's on-site ambulance, local municipalities have also assisted, the spokeswoman said.

TEN STUDENTS HOSPITALIZED WITH MINOR INJURIES AFTER SCHOOL BUS CRASH AT BROOKFIELD ZOO

Ten students were taken Loyola Medical Center with minor injuries after two school buses were involved in a crash at the Brookfield Zoo, according to a zoo spokesperson.

Two school buses collided at 1:13 p.m. in the parking lot located at 31st Street and 1st Avenue, which is the main parking lot of the Brookfield Zoo.  Ten students were brought to local hospitals following the incident. We'll update this post with any new details we receive.
