A truck's gas tank ruptured and was spilling fuel on the Dan Ryan expressway after it was involved in a rollover crash Monday afternoon. The crash happened about 2:45 p.m., according to unconfirmed dispatch reports. A truck rolled over on the southbound Interstate 94 ramp to Interstate 55, Illinois State Police said. Fuel was spilling from the the truck after a gas tank ruptured, causing a Level 1 Hazardous Material situation, police said. It was not immediately known whether anyone was injured, police said. The ramp was still closed as of 3:30 p.m. while crews work to clear the scene.
