A 48-year-old man has been charged in a crash that injured five people at a Roseland bus stop, following a police chase Tuesday night.

A 48-year-old man has been charged in a crash that injured five people at a Roseland bus stop, following a police chase Tuesday night.

James Pugh, of the 1400 block of West 115th Street, has been charged with two felony counts of aggravated fleeing; and five various misdemeanor counts including DUI, driving on a suspended license, marijuana possession, and criminal damage to property.

Pugh was arrested Tuesday night after he led police on a chase after officers attempted a traffic stop. He allegedly sped away from police, collided with another vehicle, and crashed into a bus stop on Michigan Avenue near 103rd Street.

Four people waiting at the bus stop were injured, as was the driver of the car that was hit.

Pugh allegedly tried to run away after the crash, but was caught by police.

He was due in court for a bond hearing on Thursday.
