A preliminary investigation revealed the collision occurred when a vehicle, driven by a 52-year-old Glendale Heights man, was traveling south on Shady Oaks Drive and failed to a yield to a motorcycle that was westbound on Summit Street, according to a press release from the Elgin Police Department.
