2 killed, 2 injured in Flossmoor pin-in crash
Police said around 9:20 p.m. Sunday, a 2006 Infiniti heading south in the 19800-block of Crawford Avenue tried to pass a 2005 GMC and crashed into it. Both vehicles left the road. Neighbors said they heard a big boom."I just heard a loud scraping noise and a huge thud. I think there was two or three cars involved and there was some people fighting, yelling at each other, saying, 'You should have slowed down,'" said Eric Ray, who lives nearby.The vehicles were badly mangled. Emergency crews worked for 30 minutes to free people who were trapped in the vehicles.
Second man killed in Flossmoor crash identified
One of two passengers in the Infiniti, 22-year-old Maurice Champion, was also taken to St. James, where he was pronounced dead at 10:20 p.m. Sunday, according to the medical examiner’s office. Champion lived in the 700 block of Blackhawk Drive in University Park.
