The LaSalle County Coroner’s Office reported that 40 year-old Nicole N. Maloy of Wyanet, Illinois had died in the accident on Interstate 80 westbound near mile marker 93 in Ottawa.

The name of the deceased has not been released pending next-of-kin notification and charges of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence have been filed by the LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s office against 27-year-old Nicholaus J. Cain.
