Timothy J. Hampton-Cofield, 22, and Shantonia T. Giles, 26, dead in crash with semi on I-80 in Tinley Park, Illinois

Two people died in a crash on westbound Interstate 80 near southwest suburban Tinley Park Sunday morning.

Emergency crews responded to the crash involving a passenger vehicle and a semi about 4 a.m. on I-80 east of LaGrange Road, according to Illinois State Police. Two people in the passenger vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.
