3 hurt in separate crashes near Campton Township
Charles Males, a 63-year-old from Norridge, was rushed to Delnor Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries he suffered in the crash about 4:30 p.m. Friday, Kane County sheriff's police said. Males was driving a 2012 Ford E-150 van east on Beith Road when, for an unknown reason, he disobeyed the stop sign and struck a 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer traveling south on Route 47, police said. That driver, Dana Wynn, a 24-year-old from Sycamore, also was taken to Delnor Hospital.
