13-Year-Old Hit by Vehicle Near School, Taken to Hospital

A 13-year-old child was struck by a vehicle Friday morning near Harrison Hill Elementary School. The incident took place at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Pasadena Drive and was confirmed by the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) to our partners in news at 21Alive.

Police confirm with 21Alive News that a 13-year-old child was hit by a vehicle Friday morning. The accident happened at Fairfield Ave. and Pasadena Drive, not far from Harrison Hill Elementary.

Child taken to hospital after being hit by SUV on Fort Wayne's south side

Police and medics were called to the scene of a pedestrian struck before 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Fairfield and Pasadena according to dispatchers. That's near the Southwood Park neighborhood. WANE 15 has learned the victim is a 13-year-old boy who has been taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. He is a Fort Wayne Community Schools student.
