A 56-year-old Jackson County woman died in a one-vehicle wreck reported Friday afternoon on U.S. 31 south of Seymour.
Cheri A. Mankiller, of Crothersville, was found deceased in a Chervolet Malibu after the vehicle crashed down an embankment and hit a tree off of U.S. 31 on Friday around 5 p.m. Mankiller had been traveling south on U.S. 31 when the crash happened. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
