Charles Rayburn Davenport, 75, was injured in a collision with a box truck on Osage Street in Creston, Iowa

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reports a 2003 Ford Ranger pickup driven by 75-year-old Charles Rayburn Davenport, of Arispe, was traveling west on Highway 34 at around 11:25-a.m. A 2020 International box truck driven by 22-year-old Gage William McCoy, of Ames, was stopped at the stop sign on Osage Street near the southeast City limits of Creston, and was attempting to turn left to head east on Highway 34.
