Emmanuel Nnuekwe, 24, and Darrel Johnson, 62, were injured in a head-on collision involving a car and a semi-truck on U.S. 59 in Atchinson County, Kansas

The car traveled left of center and struck a southwest bound 2020 Kenworth semi driven by Darrel Wayne Johnson, 62, St. Joseph, head-on. After impact the semi traveled into the northwest ditch, struck an embankment, rolled onto its side and struck a power pole.
