Pilot killed in single-engine plane crash near Basehor: Kansas Highway Patrol
According to a report by the patrol, the plane was heading south near U.S. 24, west of 151st Street, when the pilot made a hard-right turn that caused the nose to face east. After landing, the plane burst into flames and became fully engulfed, the report said.
