Troopers do say that Abshire was not wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck.
A fatal motorcycle collision on Saturday in Pike County occurred when Christopher Abshire, 34, of Zebulon, was driving a motorcycle on U.S. 119 in Sidney when the motorcycle exited the roadway and crashed into a guardrail. Abshire was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Investigators are trying to discover what caused Abshire's motorcycle to leave the road.
