The accident occurred shortly after midnight when Daryann Villareal, a 19-year-old woman from Jackson, Mississippi, fell asleep at the wheel and crashed her car into the guardrail near the exit ramp to La. 975 in Ramah.
When Villareal’s Toyota Camry spun out of control, her passenger, 47-year-old Kenith Simpson, was ejected from the car.
