The cyclist killed when he was struck by a garbage truck in Charlestown has been identified by the Suffolk District Attorney’s office as Owen McGrory, 30, of Chelsea,

A man on a bicycle, later identified as Owen McGrory, 30, from Chelsea, was struck by a garbage truck and killed around 1:30 p.m. Thursday near Sullivan Square.

Investigators say the driver did not stop.

They found the truck and the driver, 41-year-old Ricky Prezioso of Swampscott, Thursday night.

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office said Prezioso will be arraigned Friday in Charlestown Municipal Court on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident causing death.

The victim’s name has not been released.
