Carlos Cunha, 55, killed, after his car leaves the northbound I-495 roadway near Lawrence, and overturns, ejecting him from the vehicle.

A 55-year-old Haverhill man was killed in a car crash overnight in Lawrence.

State Police say Carlos Cunha was driving a 2004 Buick Lesabre that rolled over on I-495 northbound around 1:55 a.m. The rolled over car came to a stop between the left and middle lanes before it was hit by a tractor trailer.

Officials say at some point, Cunha was thrown from the car and killed.

The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
