40-year-old man killed, after losing control of his jeep, on northbound I-495 near Middleborough

State police say one person has died in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 495 in Middleborough. Preliminary reports indicate that a Jeep Wrangler was travelling north just after 6 p.m. Monday the 40-year-old driver from Mansfield lost control of his car and rolled over several times coming to rest in the right travel lane. The driver was taken to Morton Hospital in Taunton where he died. The reason he lost control remains under investigation. The victim’s name was not immediately made public. The crash remains under investigation.
