Six people hurt in Worcester crash allegedly involving alcohol.

Six people were hurt and one woman was arrested for OUI after an early morning crash Friday on Grafton Street in Worcester, police said.
Six people were hurt and one woman was arrested for OUI after an early morning crash Friday on Grafton Street in Worcester, police said. Police said the driver of a Nissan Sentra plowed into the back of a UPS Mack truck around 2 a.m. They said the Nissan was behind the truck, and slammed into the back of it when the UPS truck stopped. The driver of the Nissan did not appear to have hit the brakes before the crash, police said. Worcester firefighters were needed to extricate the driver, who was pinned inside the car. Police said she was not wearing a seatbelt. All five people in the Nissan were taken to local hospitals with bruises and some broken bones. The driver of the UPS truck was also taken to the hospital with neck and back pain. The driver of the Nissan, Anita Veira-Gamble, 36, of Worcester, was charged with OUI, speeding, operating a motor vehicle after suspension or revocation and a number of other motor vehicle violations.
