Correction Officer killed in crash promoted to Sgt. during memorial service
Officer Jacob Garmalo was just 21 and was riding his motorcycle home from work on Elm Street when the crash happened.
Condolences poured in that day from local police departments hit hard by the loss of a fellow member of law enforcement.
