Jewell "Scott" Goble, 43, dead after hit and run on Linden Street in Hartford, Michigan

The hit-and-run accident occurred at approximately 2:35 AM Saturday on Linden Street close to the corner of Church Street in the City of Hartford. A passing motorist saw the man lying near the street and called police. When police arrived at the site, the 43-year-old Hartford resident was unresponsive and later determined to have died. The man experience massive trauma, which is consistant with being stuck by a vehicle. Investigators foudn evidence at the scene, however they have not determined any specific information on a suspect vehicle. Police say the vehicle fled eastbound on Linden Street.
