3 Amish siblings killed, 1 critically injured after vehicle crashes into buggy

Authorities in Michigan say three children, ages 6 to 13, were killed and another was critically injured after a motor vehicle struck their horse-drawn buggy.

The buggy was struck from behind. The elderly driver of the motor vehicle was examined at a hospital.

Three children between the ages of 6 and 13 died after a driver hit the horse-drawn buggy they were riding in from behind, the Eaton County Sheriff’s office said.

They watched the children grow up and would see them often. The couple says the family is nice and their children were very helpful and very sweet. The older siblings would come over to help weed and rake their lawn.

Still no charging decision in buggy crash that killed 3

Officials with the Eaton County Prosecutor’s office said no decision had been made on the matter as of Tuesday morning because prosecutors still need more information.
