Victim killed in crash identified as 18-year-old
Johnston said police found no indication drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
Kathleen Gerard was southbound on Race Road just south of Glen Road when she lost control of her 2006 Kia, overcorrected, and struck a tree. Police responded to the crash around 2:40 p.m. Thursday. Gerard, of Grass Lake, was pronounced dead at the scene.
