One dead one in critical condition following crash on French Rd.
According to a preliminary investigation by the Michigan State Police, a 57 year-old Alpena man was driving northbound when he lost control of his Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck on the slippery road. The truck slid sideways off the east side of the road, overturned after going into a ditch, and struck some trees on the topside of the vehicle.
