Princeton Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Near Cambridge

The son of a Princeton woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle that left the scene Monday near Cambridge wants help finding answers. Matthew Turner of Princeton said Tuesday morning he can't believe the driver left the scene. Matthew Turner said they were headed to the Cambridge hospital. "She got out of the car to check on damage," Matthew Turner said. Wolter was a passenger in a car that 37-year-old Joseph Turner was driving, the patrol said.

(AP) - A passenger who got out of a car on a highway north of the Twin Cities has been killed by a hit-and-run driver. The State Patrol says the woman who was killed, Patricia Wolter, was riding in a car driven by her son. The patrol says the 54-year-old victim got out of the car and was hit by a vehicle that kept going. The car was involved in a minor collision with a minivan on Highway 95 about 10:15 p.m. Wolter's son was treated for injuries at Cambridge Medical Center.
