Betty Tinner, 83, dead, 4 injured in crash involving UPS truck Highway 84 in Jones County, Mississippi
4 injured, 1 dead in accident involving UPS truck(link is external)
According to the Jones County Fire Council, the Powers, M&M, Glade, Rustin and Sandersville Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the scene of the accident on Highway 84 East at the intersection of Lawnhaven Church Road.
First responders found two vehicles on the westbound side of the highway, a white SUV with extensive front-end damage, and a UPS truck with extensive damage to its rear passenger side.

The woman who lost her life in the wreck has been identified as 83 year old Betty Tinner from Waynesboro. She was airlifted from the scene to Forrest General Hospital, but died in the emergency room.
