Patrol spokesman Cpl. Scott White says the truck driver, a 62-year-old from Illinois, was arrested and faces two counts of involuntary manslaughter and one count of careless and imprudent driving.
A mother and daughter were killed in an eight-vehicle collision near Lake Ozark, Missouri. The crash occurred Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 54 in Miller County, when a semi truck rear-ended a car, causing a chain reaction collision. The victims, 50-year-old Robin Dinwiddle and her daughter, 27-year-old Kenda O’Leary, both of Eldon, were pronounced deceased at the crash scene. Four other people, including the truck driver, were transported to hospitals for treatment of injuries.
