63-year-old Liberty woman dies in crash in Clinton County

CLINTON COUNTY, Mo. — A Liberty, Mo. woman is dead after being ejected from a vehicle during a crash in Clinton County Friday morning. The two other occupants of the vehicle were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, but they were not injured. The crash reports says the victim, who was not wearing a seat belt,  was ejected from a rear passenger seat. Investigators say the 2003 Jeep Liberty was heading north on I-35 when they lost control while driving over a bridge. According to the online crash report, the accident happened at 8:18 a.m. along northbound I-35, just four miles south of Lathrop.
