The accident is still under investigation, but police say that they don’t suspect that alcohol was a factor in the crash.

His girlfriend, Stacia Anderson, said she will miss his laughter and smile. "We mainly talked about going places," she said. "About traveling to Italy, West Virginia and going to college together, and I guess it kind of sucks now because I have all these plans with myself and I have no one to go along with me."
Fatal car wreck kills 17-year-old Caleb Gotway. He was traveling east on SW Hook Road near SW Ward Road shortly after midnight when he apparently lost control of his vehicle, went off road and hit a dirt embankment. Authorities say that Gotway was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck, and died at a local hospital.
