The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Honda CRV driven by Madison Brewer of Kirksville crossed the roadway and struck a Ford Fusion driven by Fannie Swartzentruber of Green City. Swartzentruber was seriously injured and transported to Northeast Regional Hospital.

Brewer was accused of three counts of felony driving while intoxicated involving serious physical injury. She was also accused of failing to drive on the right half of the road resulting in an accident and a seat belt violation.
