Reserve Street is closed between Mullan and River Road while the Missoula Police Department investigates a fatal crash that left 1 female dead and sent two others to the hospital.

The 25-year-old male driver of the car, as well as the 57-year-old male driver of the truck, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at St. Patrick Hospital. Welsh said it is believed that all three people involved in the wreck were from Missoula.

The Missoula County Sheriff's department has released the name of a woman killed in head-on wreck on the Reserve Street Bridge Saturday morning. Deputies say 24-year old Kelita Marie Strope was riding in a car driven by her husband, Jonathan Gonzalez.
A Saturday morning crash leaves one woman dead and two others injured in Missoula, Montana. The accident occured on the Reserve Street Bridge when two cars travelling northbound collided. The first car, driven by a 25-year-old man with a 24-year-old female passenger, crossed the center line and was struck by a pickup, driven by a 57-year-old man. The three people involved in the crash were sent to St. Patrick's Hospital where the female passenger was declared deceased. The extent of the drivers' injuries are not yet known, but they are believed by police to not be life threatening. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
