Wear was transported to University Medical Center Trauma, where he died nearly a week later, according to a Saturday release from Metro.
Charges pending in scooter-RTC bus crash Saturday night
Wear was transported to UMC Trauma with life-threatening injuries, and alcohol may have been a factor, Metro stated. A Metro officer at the scene said the scooter had been stolen.

A man is listed in critical condition Saturday night after crashing his moped into a bus in Las Vegas at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Lindell Road. The man had fallen beneath the bus during the collision. He was taken to University Medical Center. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
