Coroner IDs Las Vegas man killed in crash on beltway

The Impala then collided head-on with a Jeep that was headed eastbound on the beltway. A Las Vegas man who was killed in a head-on collision this week on the 215 Beltway near Aliante Parkway was identified Wednesday by the Clark County coroner's office as Joel Trammel. A third vehicle collided with the Impala, which then caught fire. Trammel, 33, was driving west on the beltway in a Chevy Impala just after 1:30 a.m. The driver of another car stopped to help at the crash and their car was rear-ended.

Driver killed in crash on Northern 215 Beltway identified

A driver who died in a head-on crash involving three vehicles on the Northern 215 Beltway has been identified. According to Nevada Highway Patrol, three vehicles were involved in the crash on 215 and Aliante Parkway about 1:45 a.m. The driver of a sedan was traveling westbound on the beltway near Aliante when the car crossed the center median, hitting a Jeep that was traveling eastbound. The head-on collision killed the driver of the sedan. The driver of the Jeep was not injured and a passenger was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
