New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say a Loudon man sustained serious injuries when he lost control of his snowmobile and hit a tree.
New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say a Loudon man sustained serious injuries when he lost control of his snowmobile and hit a tree.
Officials say 54-year-old Henry Huntington was riding with his adult son on the Corridor 17 trail when he hit the tree and was thrown from his sled. He sustained serious injuries to his right leg.
His son called for medical help and Huntington was taken to Concord Hospital.
Fish and Game officials say both men were wearing helmets and proper attire. They say they are still investigating the cause of the crash.
A Conservation officer says the accident underscores the importance of wearing a helmet and riding with a companion when out on the trails.
