Man, 65, hospitalized after crashing into stopped tractor-trailer, police say

Joseph Choquette, 65, of Hamilton Square, crashed the Toyota Highlander he was driving into the back of a tractor-trailer driven by Anthony Travis, 44, of Newport News, Virginia, police said. The tractor-trailer was stopped at a red light on Route 72 near Nautilus Drive in the westbound lanes, police said. 
65-year-old Choquette suffered  facial and head injuries and taken by helicopter to the Atlantic City Trauma Unit and is currently in stable condition, police said. The crash is under investigation.
