The Summit driver was heading west in a Toyota on the highway's Interchange 16W exit when he struck the toll plaza concrete abutment and overturned around 3:45 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 21 in East Rutherford, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said.

The 26-year-old motorist, whose name has not been released, was driving west on the turnpike’s interchange 16 exit in East Rutherford when the truck hit a concrete abutment at the toll plaza and overturned around 3:45 a.m., according to a New Jersey State Police spokesman.
