Woman seriously injured when drunken driver jumps curb in Jersey City: cops
The driver of the vehicle Samaa Dessouki, 24, was charged with assault by auto, reckless driving, and driving while intoxicated, authorities said.
At about 1:45 a.m., the 49-year-old was walking on Booraem Avenune with her mother and husband when Dessouki's white Nissan Rogue came swerving down the road. The victim's mother said the three were on the sidewalk when the SUV drove up the curb, according to a police report.
