Sayreville police on Wednesday identified the pedestrian killed earlier this week when he was struck by a vehicle after he climbed over a barrier on Route 9. Scott Munk, 49, of Hamburg, New York, was hit about 12:40 a.m. Monday in the northbound lanes as he tried to cross the highway, according to Sayreville Police Lt. James Novak.
