Off-duty trooper was following motorcyclist involved in fatal crash, investigators say
The crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. when the driver of an SUV made a left turn at the intersection of Route 206 and County Road 670 in Springfield Township, according to New Jersey State Police. The motorcycle collided with the SUV in the intersection, killing the 24-year-old motorcyclist, who was not identified Wednesday.
