Passenger killed by metal object that hit car windshield on Turnpike
A 39-year-old passenger in a car was killed on the New Jersey Turnpike on Thursday when a metal object struck the vehicle and the windshield, authorities said. The car was headed north at about 1:20 p.m. when the object hit the front hood and the windshield near milepost 67 in East Windsor, according to State Police.
