A 22-year-old pedestrian was killed in Edison on Route 1 south and Plainfield Avenue, Deputy Chief Robert Dudash confirmed to News 12 New Jersey. Dudash says the pedestrian, a male resident of Edison, was on an electric scooter crossing Route 1 south when he was struck by a black SUV.
