The truck was also towing a full trailer loaded with a tractor.
It was around 3:00pm when Henninger was driving a Jeep south on Hawkin Road, and stopped at the intersection with West Veteran's Highway. After letting a few cars pass, Henninger attempted to cross the intersection, but failed to yield to a westbound flatbed truck driven by James Ohagen, 43, and her vehicle was struck by it on the driver's side. Henninger was taken to the hospital, but eventually pronounced dead, while Ohagen was not injured. The cause of the accident has been determined as Henninger's failure to yield.
