Sadly, there were no skid marks at the scene. If speed were the main cause then skid marks would have been present! Matt got up very early and worked long hours. He rarely was out late. I am certain he fell asleep. Undiagnosed sleep apnea. Blood alcohol was not an issue along with no illegal drugs in toxicology! This is a very unfortunate event where an amazing, hard working loving man was brought home early...the good die young!!!

Those who knew Matt are very fortunate!! We miss you so my loving brother! I love you so much! I wish we could have enjoyed a ride together! I'll see you when I am called home! Much love, Your baby sister, Courtney
