Authorities say the crash happened when a Cadillac Escalade traveling southeast and Toyota Camry traveling northwest collided at the entrance to the Johnson City Bus Garage.
"The Cadillac struck the Toyota causing significant damage and multiple injuries," according to the sheriff's office.
Oakley was in the back seat of the Camry driven by Jontay Card, 17, of Binghamton, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Officials say Steyer crashed into Card's car, killing 4 year-old Samyra Oakley and severely injuring 17 year-old Dashawn Pabon.
Steyer was charged with 11 uniform traffic tickets -- including reckless driving.
