Vestal Police: One Dead After Early Morning Crash on Route 17
Broome County 911 says that Route 17 East is closed between Exits 66 and 67. There was a crash involving a tractor trailer and passenger vehicle just before 4 a.m.

Paul Rymer was killed immediately when his pickup truck hit a tractor-trailer, which was about a mile from Exit 67, according to Vestal Police Sgt. Chris Streno. Police say the crash happened between exits 66 and 67.
