3 people injured, transported to hospital, after a two-car crash on Dewey Avenue in Rochester.

Three people were injured in a crash on Dewey Avenue near Avis Street Wednesday evening.

Officers responded for a report of a two-vehicle accident just after 6:30 p.m.

They said one vehicle driving north on Dewey Avenue hit a vehicle driving west on Avis Street.

The driver of the northbound vehicle and the driver and passenger of the westbound vehicle were taken to Strong Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the northbound vehicle was cited for an expired registration, and the other driver was cited for failing to yield.
