Driver arrested, pedestrian killed in west Charlotte collision
One person died in a crash in west Charlotte Saturday evening.
The fatal wreck happened just before 7 p.m. at the intersection Wilkinson Boulevard and Remount Road.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said Gaberial Morgan, 35, was speeding when he hit a pedestrian, identified as 51-year-old Beaver Jett.
